DECEMBER 1, 2011 - MARCH 24, 2012

A first-of-its-kind look at the history of graffiti in San Diego.

Thank you to those of you who attended Contents Under Pressure: The Writing on the Wall, a unique exhibit that featured 30 years of urban art created by San Diego-based graffiti artists and Hip Hop photographers. The exhibit highlighted the history from the inception of Hip Hop in San Diego, to present day – and how today’s artists are showing the world that graffiti is a legitimate and museum-worthy art form. Be sure to check out the photo gallery and stay tuned for the synopsis video, where you can relive this exciting exhibit.

Presented by the Writerz Blok and the San Diego Museum of Art.
